A sports and recreation complex (FOK) with an ice arena, a swimming pool, an extreme park and a workout area will be built in Nekrasovka at the request of residents, said Sergey Kuznetsov, chief architect of Moscow.
FLC will appear at the Nekrasovka station of the Nekrasovskaya metro line, next to public transport stops. The project was developed by the architectural design bureau Alev Group.
“A three-story building with an area of about 20,000 square meters is shaped like a paper airplane. There will be panoramic glazing and a hinged facade made of perforated aluminum cassettes, which not only decorate the building, but also serve as a screen against the sun. In the evening, architectural lighting will be lit on the facades. In accordance with the policy of Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, all modern sports facilities provide opportunities for activities for various age groups of the population,” said Sergei Kuznetsov.
